+2 doors, +25 horsepower, +800LBs, +40 defense, -0.4L, now immune to curbs.
Some mid-afternoon OC for my fellow Ford fans.

I lol'd.
Very nice Panther you have there, though I think that fox body takes the cake. They both look gorgeous on those steelies. What's the story here? You sell the 'Stang?

I actually don't own them, but I noticed the similarity and had to post it. My 2007 Crown Vic P71 (below) is a lot less impressive than the one in the picture.
Edit: Also, I would do terrible, terrible things for a good-condition SSP.

I don't know. People can see your car in the dark, think it's a cop, slow down, which allows you to speed by.

Oh OK. Still, with a little paint work, yours looks 90% there. The body looks pretty clean.
Plus you got to keep the spotlight. That's awesome.

More often they just stand on the brakes when they see me behind them and proceed to go 5 under in no-passing zones.

It's got 148K on the odo and (knock on wood) no major issues presently. Had to rebuild the transmission, replace the oil cooler, one of the coil-on-plug units and a few bushings, but for $3,000, it's a hell of a car, drilled holes and all.
I'm planning on repainting it metallic blue, as pictured. May just find a blue 'Vic at a pick-n-pull, panel swap what I can and repaint the unswappable roof and rear fenders.

Very nice. Although I will say I saw a Grabber Blue Crown Vic the other day and it looked really friggen cool.

Ha, that bites.
have you ever driven in snow or on dirt roads with it? Does it do well in those conditions? I'd like one, but I don't know enough about rwd cars and how they fair in those conditions.

On good tires it handles wonderfully in almost all conditions; dirt roads are no problem at all, and ice is manageable, but I haven't driven it on snow yet. Mud is bad news though; the open diff on mine got me stuck pretty thoroughly a few weeks ago, and to my shame I had to be pulled out by a Dodge Ram. Put a limited slip diff and it'll handle anything you can reasonably throw at it.
Off-roading is apparently doable though.
